The story of the Detroit music
scene is often very complex and it doesn't get any more
complicated than when you are discussing Don Davis.
Quite simply, Don is one of
the most influential people in the history of Soul Music.
His input is nothing short of staggering.
This partnership with Lebaron
Taylor resulted in Solid Hitbound Productions. A
Yellow Pages advert from 1967 lists Solid Hitbound
Productions as manufacturers of Revilot, Groovesville and
Solid Hitbound Records. Each
record label had it's own entry too. They were shown as a
division of Solid Hitbound Productions Inc.
