This was the home
of Hazel and Robert Coleman and their daughter Thelma.
They had a lengthy collaboration
with the great Don Davis, including Da-Co Productions and
Da-Co Records, which preceded Thelma.
Their early Thelma releases
gave them enough confidence to open a store front at 6519 Grand River,
where a lot of serious Northern Soul was administered.
Thelma became Berry Gordy's
first wife in 1954.
