Martha Reeves & Vandellas Grammy Award nomination

Does any recall the details of the MR&V recording of Heat Wave which was nominated for a Grammy Award as the best r&b record of 1963?

Only that they were nominated with six other songs. Ray Charles' "Busted" won. I would assume they would have received a nomination certificate.

Logical assumption. Thanks. I do know that the following year 1964 the girls were presented with a plaque by comedian Phil Silvers. Ironically Martha did not mention the nomination in her book.

I had read recently where she was supposedly working on an updated book on the group. Now that she isn't performing constantly like in the past, maybe we shall see the fruits of her efforts. That would be awesome. Long overdue.

In the 1974 ANTHOLOGY booklet, there is a photo of Phil presenting the girls with the plaque.

In her book, Martha does mention the nomination but rather briefly.
