I remember first getting into Aretha due to my dad recording her music videos on TV. Jimmy Lee, one of the songs you posted, was one of my first favorite memories of the Queen.

When I was kid, Aretha was like my Mom's and her friends High Priestess. LOL! I mean they were into Aretha. I remember hearing them talk back to her records whenever she'd sing something that struck a personal chord with them. Everything from "sing girl" to "that's right" to simply "well" LOL! Aretha and her music was so influential in the late sixties that if she had sang, "now go in there ,shoot your man and jump out the window", more than few women would have done it! LOL!
When I think of Aretha, I think of goin' to church! Here you go!
