Glencro,
I have just watched your video post a couple of times and each time I get more churchified! Thanks.
Here is my contribution from the Gospel at Colonus and "Lift Him Up"
...stupid me forgot to post it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Uvcol7Ngv0
Here is my contribution, now let the church Say Amen!!

and if I may, one of my favorites "We Come This Far by Faith":
Here is one that I have loved for more than 20 years now. Aretha, Cecil and Erma Franklin:
Marv2 good find I never saw that...
Here is another good one from Donnie McClurkin & Karen Clark Sheard
Thanks Abfan and thanks for that wonderful clip of Karen Clark Sheard and Donnie McClurkin. It is interesting to me to note that Karen and her sisters are my homegirls from Detroit and Donnie McClurkin is a homeboy from here on Long Island. I've been to his church over in Freeport, NY. They are truly blessed. We are truly blessed to have this great music and talent to enjoy.
Such an uplifting post...Marv, thanx for the Aretha, Cecil & Erma post...WOW
Jennifer Holliday takes me to another plae with "His Eye Is On The Sparrow"
The late great Walter Hawkins "I'm Going Away"
Now this is gonna knock o out, Twinkie solo project and her sisters join her for Endow Me..Beautiful
This has always been one of my favorites, and this was her last TV appearance, it was taped just a few weeks before she passed, and didn't air until after she had left us:
Hi this is Kev-Lo
This is a very nice thread. This is just what we need on here some spiritual loving!!!!! Thanks for starting this abfan.
Thanx for posting jillfoster. Mahalia Jackson was HUGE in my house. That was my mother's favorite singer and she played her music all the time. January 31 will be a year that my mother passed away, instead of making me sad this Mahalia clip put a big smile on my face. She has laid down all of her burdens
The great Marvin Winans with the SOUL SEEKERS....It's All God
She didn't need an orchestra, a band or a choir. All she needed was the spirit to give her testimony! From 1963, Ms. Mahalia Jackson and "How I Got Over". [[note how the reserved audience tries so hard to contain themselves....)
Oh I love Marvin Winans... Shame him and Anita never performed Aint no Need to Worry Live...but here is another tear jerker from, Ron winans and cece winans before he passed
VANESSA BELL ARMSTRONG & DARYL COLEY... SOMEBODY SAY AMEN AGAIN...WHEW!!!
I was at the recording with Ron & CeCe Winans. In fact a few friends of mine are singing in the background. This is very touching to me because I just spotted a friend singing background who passed away a few years ago. Great clip [[RIP Ronald & Bernard) ...thanx for posting
This one s going WAY WAY back, but sister can PICK IT:
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
First of all let me say Happy New Year to each and every one of you. This really is a great thread, and if I may I would like to post one of my favorites from the late Bishop David L. Ellis of Greater Grace Temple singing his favorite medley. What makes this video so special is two days after singing this very medley, Bishop Ellis went home to be with the Lord.
T.L. Harris
And this is another great one with Barbara McNair and Ethel Waters:
