You're inclusion of James Edwards was a pleasant surprise in that I have been looking for a made of TV he made when I was a kid called "Color Me German". I found it listed but not a way to obtain a copy of it. Diana Sands was great, totally unsung.

Interesting. That title is new to me. I’ll do some poking around. He could’ve been as big as Poitier [[and in fact made his splash first), but apparently was troubled and not a team player.

And I live and breathe Diana Sands. Just a magnificent talent taken way too soon.

The formal, complete title of the program was : "NBC Experiment in Television" [[TV Series 1967–1971) - I saw the "Color Me German" episode in the spring of 1970 while I was stuck in the hospital at 9 years old. I learned recently that Edwards passed away earlier that year.
