I assume the girls did not join Judy on stage at anytime during the show?

I don't think so. Mary wrote that they only saw her while they were sneaking around backstage, and Judy briefly popped her head out of her dressing room.

There's a story that goes that the girls went up to Judy's room to try to meet her at one point, but she was asleep [[at this point, Judy's health was rapidly deteriorating and she slept constantly due to her medication). I believe they did meet at one point, but Judy was never a big rock and roll fan, which makes her appearance with the Supremes [[and, later, the Vandellas) all the more surprising.

But on the serious side, judy garland was a great talent whose career was cut short too soon.
