Indeed; Marvin Gaye while being one our most beloved artists had a lot of serious issues especially at the time that his ex-wife Anna divorced him. You Said It! I picked up Divided Soul the moment it came out in 1985 and yes, it was one of the darkest [and saddest] stories about an artist. It's too bad that Marvin Gaye did not go into therapy in order to deal with the many demons that he had.
