I have all of my 6000 cds and vinyl rips backed up at least two ways. In fact, my main external drive with the artist titles is corrupt, so i backed it up last month. I just backed it up again, and right now, i'm in the process of backing up the various artists drive with it, all onto one big t1.5 drive. I plan to back that one up too, and take it off-site for insurance. That's not including all the backups i have already! I spent a year...over a year backing up all that music, and i don't want to do it again. Some of that stuff is irreplaceable! I'm not gonna lose it!
Btw, how did you get a virus? You did keep your antivirus and firewall up to date, didn't you? Yes, this is the part where i scold you about computer safety. I'm very into securing computers. I run windows 7 with trend micro internet security, malwarebytes, and a-squared. No problems! I don't click on email attachments unless i know exactly what they are, and all the security i have stops anything that does get in.
