this caught my eye as PERHAPS something by Donna Summer I wasn't already familiar with. It does seg into MacArthur Park at the end which I perhaps hadn't heard before...

I'm noticing something listening this round as to one of the reasons I've never cared as much for HEAVEN KNOWS that I just now noticed ....I don't like the shrill accompanying/thickening vocals.

And along with Brooklyn Dreams, Chris Bennett, Donna Fein & Carolyn Dennis are credited as backgroud singers for the studio side of Donna Summer's Live And More LP [which featured "Heaven Knows" as part of the "Mac Arthur Park Suite"].

what I'm finding curious is that reportedly LOVE TO LOVE YOU BABY was released in The Netherlands in June of 1975 but I'm seeing no charting of it in spite of her previous hit there. But also this would take months to be released in the US and in the meantime the disco DJs/ import stores didn't spot it as an import......{?]
also recorded in Germany , but not released there??

I'm only now understanding that it wasn't her future husband Bruce Sudano she sang with .... the two of them never put a project together.
