    Ross classics

Just thinking, with all the hits Diana has had over the years , what songs have slipped under the radar that you think are worthy and as good as the bigger hits.
    Your love .
If you're not gonna love me right.
    If the world just danced
    Love is all that matters.
    Not over you yet remix

her version of Little Girl Blue from the Blue sessions/TMITM album is frankly one of the most masterful recordings she's ever done. that includes her Supremes work. it's just flawless. of course it wouldn't have been a single but it's still a masterpiece

some of the singles that should have done much better:
    Top of the World
    You got it
The Boss - only going #19?!?! but of course it really has maintained it's legacy
    Surrender
    Bottom Line - Workin Overtime

and then there are lots of tracks that were gems on the albums and oddly totally overlooked for a single
You Do it - from Ross 83
You Were The One - from Ross 78
Dark side of the World - from DR 70
All of my Life - from TMITM
Baby it's me - from BIM
Anywhere you run to - Silk Electric
    Who - SE
Touch by Touch - Swept Away

    Shoulda, coulda, wouldas!

    Shoulda been bigger:
    Remember Me
    I'm Still Waiting
I Thought It Took a Little Time
    The Boss
    Missing You
    Chain Reaction
    Not Over You Yet
    If the World Just Danced

    Coulda, woulda been worthy singles:
    Dark Side of the World
I Won't Last a Day Without You [if released before the Carpenters]
    After You
    No One Gets the Prize
    You Do It
    Change of Heart
    Waiting in the Wings

    " You Were The One"
I have always said what was Motown thinking.
That song has hit all over it.

Not Over You Yet should have been to Diana what Believe was to Cher.
