How come no live versions of "Back In My Arms Again" or "Nothing But Heartaches" on the More Hits Expanded? Could this possibly mean a Copa Expanded in the near future?

John, you promised in the 1st hour that you should play Nothing But Heartaches at the beginning of hour 2
Great Show!!!! So...after "More Hits" then came [[on the same day) Merry Christmas & Live at The Copa. Merry Christmas was re-done 12 years ago, so Copa is next up. Is there a plan??? Can they give a teensy weensy clue of what it will be? PLEASE!!!!!!
Diana's vocals are really strong on this version of Mother Dear!!!
Has anybody ever asked Diana or Mary what they thought of "Mother Dear"?
Shouts out to mj, Andy and George! Looking forward to this fantastic set! Thank you for another amazing release!
And now a question: how frustrating is it that we have barely gotten this release and you are being bombarded with WHAT the NEXT release is and WHEN the NEXT release is coming?
Thank and love you guys!
xoxo

YEA FOR THE COPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keeping fingers crossed!
I'm dying to own THE COPA in an expanded set, with additional gigs that were likely recorded...did Flo ever get to actually do "People"?
I'm here! Just got out of class!
NBH [[alternate) is my favorite track on the set! It's awesome!
Johnjeb, there r live version of BIMYA and NBH on the 2000 box set disc 5. also, they did both songs along with WHERE DID OUR LOVE GO at the Copa show
WOW! That instrumental break!
Hey George and Andy, has Universal or you guys considered commemorating Lady Sings The Blues 40th Anniversary next fall with a crisp remaster and those rumored vault alternates? Also I'm sure it's probably cost prohibited but since so much of the first part of the films dialog was included on the original release possibly finishing the film narrative over a two disc set.
Have to go to bed now, John, love to Andy & George from me! Till next time.
Thanks for the discussion. Of course, I believe you but I will drive myself nuts not understanding why I never saw this booklet for sale. I own all of the programs and the [[c) 1965 one that I have is totally different. And I was thee... LOL .. John may recall some of my stories!!! Richard
love NOTHING BUT HEARTACHES. a great song. the song also made #6 cashbox ,which is based on sales only.
If we's get a Copa set, will Miss Diana's original vocals be used as alternate versions?
Question#2/Suggestion#1: Have George and Andy considered adding some of these outtakes to the ITunes release for the album, where there's more space/time to work with? And the die-hard fans can buy these individual special tracks at their leisure/pleasure.
GOOD IDEA ....RossHollaway.
TOTIH: I don't hear Flo's vocals!
Who was that dude that just spoke during the commercials? Was it Matthew McConaughey? lol
I will still be here for Cream of the Crop in 2047!
Did someone's doorbell just ring in the background? I hope it wasn't mine. I don't want to be pulled away from listening to the show
playlist plus 2008
1969 on Uni.- No Matter What Sign You Are
One more question George & Andy .... When you pull all the tapes and notes for these Supremes albums to do deluxe editions, have you ever found alternate track line ups or running orders for them? Would be a fun bonus to put in the booklets on future sets for the fans to make iPod playlists and recreate them.....
I just ordered Playlist Plus! I can't wait to hear "Baby Love"!
looking forward to the timeline booklet
Did The Andantes, who sang behind The Supremes amongst others, get a recording contract? If not, why not?
there is a book on Elvis recordings....a great book. a motown book would be cool.
I'm going to order the Playlist+ too, must be full of alternate surprises!
Playlist Plus has the Motown Story version of "You Keep Me Hangin' On"...which I didn't realize until a few months ago. I had to have it! lol.
carlo, that is my fav version of YKMHO. love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me too! You can hear so much of Flo on it.
Keep putting out additional copies of the Limited Editions; we need to expose all the Motown acts to all the young people, the new people etc.
Blue was the true masterpiece of all your work.
Playlist+ is on Amazon, just a little bit expensive...
I'll run tomorrow and check all the record stores I know...

BLUE is an excellent album! love it.i still play it.i am all for more BLUE
Thanks for answering both my questions guys. I agree the dialogue could be dropped from Lady especially since as I pointed out the narrative is incomplete on the Album to begin with.....
I ordered it from Amazon.com from a merchant. Much cheaper...

I'm beginning to understand - thanks to George and Andy - that I should have bought ALL of the released items on DRATS in the past two decades. There are surprises, alternate vocals, expanded fades, etc.
The booklets and/or the back covers should have mentioned that!
I didn't hear that, George...
LOL!!!!!!!!! George. you guys are cracking me up!
John, please ask ,if u can, will andy ever get to work on any of the diana -rca albums?
I'm in Europe, Carlo, the shipping costs are high. I'll try amazon.de [[Germany).
He Holds His Own - wow what a cut. The background vocals are just beautiful.
