    Ralph?????

Can anyone contact Ralph? I need to speak with him ASAP.

    Mary,
My email account has been hacked and I can't access my email as of now. I don't want to publish my phone number on the forum, so I hope whatever it is you need to speak with me about can hold off until I resolve my hassle.

  3. #3
Glad your alright Ralph -thats the main thing... Mary was just worried for your wellbeing brother..

  4. #4
    That's interesting.

Just 2 minutes ago I had a Facebook chat with "Ralph" he said he's been mugged while on vacation the the UK [[Wales) and had cash, credit card and cell phone stolen in a park by the hotel he was staying in. He then asked if I could help him out with cash!

Sorry to bug you while you're busy Ralph.

I was getting messages from you via Facebook. Asking for money. I figured it was a scam, but before I posted anything I wanted to make sure that for some strange reason, it really wasn't you. I figured you knew on my paltry drag queen salary that I couldn't afford the $3500.00 you were asking me to wire.

So I asked "Ralph" a simple question: did he remember playing football with me at Carlo's house, while Mary and Cindy were there. And of course, "he" remembered.

More than anything, I just wanted to warn your SDF friends, in case someone should fall for the scam.

Hacking facebook has been growing in the thousands in the last few days as the hacking code is circulating freely on the internet..there was a report about it on the radio the other day..

I just had a conversation with 'Ralph' on facebook and 'he' asked for $3500.

I, too, had a panicked Facebook instant message from "Ralph." After a few exchanges, I realized it was bogus, so I had some fun at "Ralph's" expense--that naughty boy! The best part is when I told him I didn't have Western Union, but EASTERN Union and did "he" think it would still work? "Yes." Surrrrrrrrre it would. I eventually wound up making "Ralph" REALLY mad and he told me to f**k off and blocked me. How do they really think people are going to fall for this stuff?

I just got a facebook chat from "Ralph" too! I told this idiot who is pretending to be Ralph that I would send out the money soon and that Tina Duress and Linda Lorenz wanted to help out, so they're both sending some money too! I also told this person that I wanted to hear all about the incident at Susaye's surprise birthday party in a few weeks. Anyway, I said I would help out and they're expecting money, but nothing is going to be sent.

I hope nobody falls for this scam. I hate the fact that some clown is using my name in this manner.

  12. #12

I've never been on Facebook, but as I posted on the thread concerning this in the Motown forum -

I just saw the same email in my inbox also from "Terrana" and another one with the same "My Plight" title from "Mia Rezendes" at precisely the same time. I didn't open either one of them. This really has me bothered because I've had this email address for over 5 years and never received a single spam email in all that time. So where did they get my email address????? I'm not opening either one of them and will keep an eye on this thread to see what develops.

I had the same thing as Oldies...an e-mail addressed from "Terrana" with the header "My Plight". Thought it was suspicious so I went here to check...looks like we've all been receiving these!!

    Best,

    Mark

    I remember, Dyva.

    Oldies,
I'm glad you decided not to open the email. What a mess.

LOL!! That's especially funny, because I HATE football. Good one!

    Hey Ralph:

I the got the same email in my inbox also from "Terrana" at one of my email addresses and another one with the same "My Plight" title from "Mia Rezendes" on a different email address. I don't think that I ever registered either one of my email addresses on soulful detroit, but I have communicated with you via email at both. I think they are hacking into your personal email account. Hope you catch this scam artist.

I wish I knew how to get my hands on the guy, Goomba.

Ralph, You mean you're not stranded in the UK and can't get back?!! Damn, I just sent the Lear jet for you with the change of clothes and the suitcase full of twenties. Now I have to call them and get it back. Oh bother!

  22. #22
Chris, Next time, check with me.

  23. #23
One more reason why I don't do Facebook! Geez!

  24. #24
they must have accessed this forum because Ralph woudnt have had my email on his facebook...I just replied to "My Plight" by telling then they were a f***ing criminal and to get a job and that they were slime...

  25. #25
I haven't got any spam like this on either Facebook nor my personal email which Ralph used last week. But luckily, just in case, I didn't pass the Visa card number on line! I did see a Ralph Terrana on Facebook last nite, same pic!

...Ralpht ...I don't think the emails are the action of any actual person ...it's the way of the world with wayward email addresses ...I get a regular viagra-type email ...supposedly from a trusted friend ...her address has been bundled in with 1000s of others when these sort of messages get sent ...I even get the occasional one ...from myself!!! ...the Facebook situation seems more serious ...glad I'm not on it...

Facebook is OK, it's just not Soulful Detroit.

My partner at work...............the first time he ever got a Viagra spam..............it came from my wife's computer [[she is also a lawyer at our office).

He had no idea a computer would or could do that and he was very shocked and hurt that she would send him a Viagra prescription ad!

I just got that silly E mail too. This sh.. ain't funny. Family ,we been violated and we've got to be vigilant and carefull.
WE all know that "Gawd Fedder" could never be stranded anywhere in the world ,where a SDF member is located. Clearly a sad situation has been thrust upon us. All I can say to those responsible is ," Silly rabbit ,tricks is for kids".

ralpht said, "I wish I knew how to get my hands on the guy".
I guess it's time for everybody to pull out our offical cans of "Whoop Ass !!!" , and remember to "shake well"

    Ralph,
Add me to the list of people wanting money for "you" because you were mugged on vacation. I think Destruction got one, too, and he's not on Facebook. I knew better and deleted it.
Dyva, I remember your incident, too!
