What is the longest note Diana has held in a song??

and especially to bring a song to its conclusion ...

Just an odd thought... can't really think of her holding notes for very long...I'm sure there are examples .... ??

I’m sure this song must be the prime candidate.

    God Bless The Child?

At least in some live shows she seemed to hold for quite a while.

Yes, it’s very romantic. I believe Wintley Phipps wrote it especially for her for her marriage to Arne. This track, Summertime and It’s Hard for Me to Say are among the best, if not the best ballads, along with Missing You that Diana recorded at RCA, the much maligned RCA years, lol. I can find at least 5 tracks on each RCA album that I like or love, even Eaten Alive, which is my least favorite of the albums. I don’t hate any of them.

Don’t know if you’re being facetious but yes. I also forgot the high note from One Shining Moment that she holds for a decent amount of time.

Ah I see, thanks deepdish! And yes, I think Diana recorded some very nice tracks at RCA, including "Selfish One" and "Cross My Heart" alongside those you have already mentioned!
