We watched this here in my house and a question came up.......We know of course that each of them had top ten hits with their version of Prayer. But in each case it was a two-sided hit, with Dionne also scoring with Valley of the Dolls and Aretha with House That Jack Built. So would that possibly be the only time that the same song was part of a two-sided hit for two different artists?
Clarification.........in each case, each lady had both sides of the same 45 reach the TOP TEN, so therefore a more accurate question would be "Was this the first time that two different artists had both sides of a 45 reach the top ten, with one side being the same song?"
