Has the world has changed or stayed the same? Different dances, different clothes. But for the most part, young people today express themselves much the same as they did 80 years ago. Maybe there's a difference in the energy...

You're joking, right? Young people today don't even dance with partners half the time. They seem to jump up and down to noise and call it dancing. Okay, I'm feeling old.

Also, Frankie Manning was a frequent member of Whitey's Lindy Hoppers and choreographed for them. There was a global revival all over the world in the 80s. Interesting life. The dance craze was interrupted by WWII when many of the dancers were drafted.
