I know Motown cut the rap from the US version of Don’t Stop because they felt it inappropriate for Diana, but I would love to know the reasoning behind the other edits. Voice Of The Heart, I Never Loved A Man Before and Keep It Right There feature alternate mixes between the UK/US releases, removing a chorus or an instrumental passage. The promotional CD includes further edits on I Will Survive and If You’re Not Gonna Love Me Right. The edits, in my opinion, add nothing and lessen the overall production. Why was this necessary?
