Whatever is going on, she looked damn good in that recent photo.
I agree. Her voice is something special. Her brief time with The Supremes was very wasteful. There is only really the awful Jimmy Webb album and Bad Weather single that she actually sings on. That is a criminal waste of an outstanding talent, but keep your eyes and ears open for news of her forthcoming projects. The lady is by no means finished in the music industry.

was she also on I Guess I'll Miss The Man? there's basically no known studio dates for that one. The show premiered on Broadway in Oct 72 and the girls released their single in Sept. So i'm assuming it's MJL doing the singing.
or is this another session singers bg vocals?
if any of you snagged a copy of I'll Wait A Lifetime off youtube, it's a great listen. IMO it's the strongest of the 3 Stevie tunes that we've heard.
When did Cindy leave...sometime in ‘72 right?
Lynda was gorgeous...I don't care for her over belting and over singing live on much FLOS /Supremes stuff.... but there are many great moments in the catalogue of cuts she did leads on for Ian Levine's Motorcity label....[[Living With A Married Man, Forever Came Today, Love Child, If This World Were Mine, Forever)
Lynda looks great and very happy in the recent photo with Mary's Supreme Glamour Book. I wish her much success in her future endeavors, whatever they may be.
It's Lynda LaUrence. Don't forget she was also on the Live in Japan album.
Lolol. There’s a new group forming. Formerly of the Former Ladies...Chantel, Kaaren et al....
And there they are!! Don’t u mean Cindy Scott, Marv?
Pearlie Salters and the New Supremes IV featuring Chantel Baker. Let’s get these names correct!
If only Lynda had stayed I think she would have been lead in the Supremes.
Omg. lol lol
Here's a bit of Chantel Baker's history regarding her illustrious career. Back in the 80's Mary Wilson was auditioning new backup girls for her show. Chantel tried out, but Mary told her "Chantel you are just TOO GOOD to work backing me up........"! That was the only way she could get rid of her. LOL!!!
Actually didn’t Mary tell that to Merry Clayton?
