Nearly all of Stevie's productions for other artists seem to include him as a guest vocalist, at which point it often gives the impression of the main artist being demoted to the role of guest artist on their own record. This gives me mixed feelings.

When I saw Stevie at Wembley Arena in 1980 he performed "Let's Get Serious" without Jermaine using exactly the same arrangement as Jermaine's version, and it was clear that it would have been at least as big a hit without Jermaine.

Perhaps we need a thread called "Stevie Wonder productions that don't feature Stevie on vocals." I'd open that up with "Bad Weather". Can't think of any others right now.
