I wouldn't call him a Motown artist although he did briefly record for Motown where he released his final single on Soul Records, "I Never Thought I'd Be Losing You," in 1978. His fame was in the sixties on Okey.

my fave Major Lance record is "Stay Away From Me" on Curtom in '69 or '70.
