Peaceful is one of Helen Reddy's best tunes. Nice choice.

I Love Love Love "Peaceful"... Helen Reddy is underrated as a vocalist, although she has some cheesy songs in her catalog..... she retired from perforning a few years ago and now practices as a licensed clinical Hypno-Therapist in Sydney, Australia.....

Tony, Do you know Helen Reddy's "Westwind Circus" [[I might have the name of the circus wrong)? It has a great production.

Nothing But A Heartache, amazing song that should have charted much higher but does sounds like a throwback to the early sixties compared to other records out at that time in 1969.....

Johnny, I remember reading a Ronstadt interview a couple of years ago where she basically admitted she didn't feel she nailed the Motown stuff eiether back then but thought she would do a better job of it now.....

God Only Knows...... great song, reminds me Olivia Newton John did a great cover of it in the seventies since Anne Murray, Helen Reddy, and Linda Ronstadt have been spotlighted tonight.....

It is a great, great song. Though actually, I thought the song was a little ahead of what was happening in '69. The song did not receive air play in my region so I didn't hear it until about 3 years after it's release. And at that time the hard and heavy arrangement was very similar to things that folks like Norman Whitfield were doing at that time. I think the main reason it didn't do well was lack of air play. It's a girl group song, but also in a way it's not. It's a very unique song. I love it!

John: so sorry I missed the show. My recorder failed me as well! Would you please post the playlist for the show here? Thank you so much and please keep your brilliant extended remixes coming.
