    R.I.P. Cornell Dupree

Just found out that legendary guitarist Cornell Dupree made his transition today.

Although his website hasn't made the announcement of his passing,Cornell was battling serious health issues.

    May he rest in peace.

Like Roy Buchanan, Cornell never got the props he was due...but was one helluva guitarist. He was a master of gut bucket funk...and was the perfect counter to Eric Gale's" sweetness" in STUFF. My condolences to" DU"...my friend Cornell Jr. & the rest of the family.
