From all accounts, it seems the Hollywood Bowl was an updated show. A few surprises:
He Lives In You
Chain Reaction
Home
The Man I Love
Fine And Mellow
If We Hold On Together
Amazing Grace
It’s My Turn
I haven’t seen a complete set list, but it must have been quite a night...
Need We Say More? Most reports said it appeared sold out but my spies told me if you stood at the back looking down, there were some unsold $49 seats in the back of the bleachers ...too bad anyone missed this show - just look how sensational she looks - all reports are the crowd was berserk for her

Looks like Diana rocked the house as she's always did.
She was fantastic! Looked and sounded fantastic. Adored by the audience. It looked like a sellout crowd from my vantage point. Performed the whole show accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl orchestra. New setlist that included all Johnny B mentioned above and "It's My House." A night to remember.
Could anyone be kind enough to post the complete set list here ?
It seems it was a great evening and i'd like to know which were the main changes.
Thanks a lot !
Found this on instagrams.

Any chance she recorded this event?
AMAZING GRACE sounds captivating
But, no
THE BOSS and no LOVE HANGOVER
I definitely would not have been pleased by the their absence, especially as both are orchestration oriented numbers that would have been kicked up a notch when heard live with an orchestral rendering . Missed opportunity imo.
Wow she looks amazing
And even more amazing
And still even MORE amazing -
As good as Ravinia was, I’d much rather have been at The Bowl on a warm, summer evening under and with the stars watching THE star - knocking it out in front of 18,000 people with a broken ankle!
When she pulls stuff like this off, at 74, with a broken ankle and a broken stage monitor making it hard for her to hear, I just shake my head. No one can touch her!
I hope they did film it. She didn’t do I Will Survive??
Looks great, voice a bit shaky at times but that's to be expected. Delighted that she did 'Chain Reaction', #1 in the UK but the US gave it a thumbs down. I'll never understand that!
She is still so beautiful! Thanks for the amazing pictures!
Nice write-up here

Yep. Woulda cut a b to have been there. WHAT a lady and what a talent. And a 'bye Felicia' to those who thought segregating Diana here would have a negative impact. Didn't happen.

One of the greatest entertainers of all time...
Diana certainly does look amazing and she sounds amazing on the YouTube video someone posted, wish I lived in the U.S. But unfortunately I live in the UK, can't afford to come to the U.S.
Please Miss Ross, do come to the UK even if it is for a last concert, never missed seeing Diana when she use to perform in the UK, seeing all the rave reviews for the U.S. shows, I really miss her sooooooooo very much, wish she would record at least one of her shows on DVD, sigh!!!!!
I am also glad that we have got our own DR & The Supremes thread now,, hopefully it should keep the trouble makes away.
Thanks for the clips, Milven - just wonderful.
I love how she shook up the setlist - SO wish I could have been there...
PS: She seems especially emotional - I hope those are mainly happy and joyful tears glistening in her eyes...

^ Might've been. She should shake up her set lists every now and then, she has so many hits and great songs it'll make your head spin lol
Thanks for all the clips. I wish I had been there. I saw her at the Bowl in 2013 where Tracee emceed, Rhonda and Evan performed their own sets and all her children joined Diana onstage at the finale. And I saw her at the Pantages in 2004 with Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson & Brian Holland in the audience. My greatest Motown idols in the same room as me! [[Only wish Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland had been there, too.)
I thought those two thrilling and heartwarming nights couldn't be topped. But now I wish I had made it to the Bowl on Saturday. The set list was unexpectedly awesome [[Amazing Grace, Home, If We Hold On Together)! Perfect set list to be performed with the 70-piece Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Diana did indeed seem most engaged and emotional. Again, Milven, thank you for the clips.
Sounds like a great show
Many many thanks for the set list !
My dream is someday she will add "Surrender" & "I thought it took a little time"... !

Her voice's tone and resonance are magnificent
I have heard nothing but raves for this awesome performance. Great job, Miss Ross. Thanks for continuing to entertain us.
Purple gown for Upside Down same gown from Tell Me Again from Red Hot Rhythm & Blues 31 years ago. Pretty impressive. Well played Diana, well played...
Diana really looks stunning here. It's always great to hear her backed by a full orchestra.
Sorry to be the odd man out, but i really did not enjoy her performances of "Amazing Grace" or "Home" at all.. IMO her voice, although still good is just not up to singing those big belting ballad type numbers anymore and i think it would have been better had they been left alone. I think better song choices would have been "The Boss" and "Only Love Can Conquer All".
For me all the other songs sounded great, particularly "He Lives In You" which would make a a great permanent show opener.
its nice to hear her sing some of her other classics.....I wish she would also add If Youre Not Gonna Love Right......Not Over You Yet
but with her career its hard to include everything...
I thought I saw a clip of her singing My World I s Empty....
some nice surprises, glad she added new songs
