Mary Wilson with The London Philharmonic Orchestra - "Come See About Me".

Courtesy of Mysterysinger. Mary sounds so good and this recording makes this old song sound so fresh!

That's not funny and it's not clever. As most Motown hits consist of vocals added to a band track, couldn't it be argued that they're all a kind of karaoke?

I don't think it sounds like Martha either - that Martha vibrato isn't there. There are odd moments when I'm less than sure [[not many). On balance, I think it may be someone else.

Could they do that and get away with billing it as "Martha Reeves"?

When I saw Martha and Vandellas awhile ago she had no vibrato. Seems to come and go

If it is Martha on the CD, she sounds good.

I know she can control it when she wants to. I've seen/heard her do it too.
