While there is no longer a classic soul station in my area, just a contemporary one that plays six neo-souls for every one seventies-eighties classic and goody, "Oldies" radio today is mostly British-Psychedelic as their sixties, the rest, basically another mix station of seventies and eighties. I was once incredibly surprised I actually heard "Super Freak" on oldies recently, myself used to remember "oldies" meant mid-fifties-early seventies.
Yes, while they still normally have "My Girl" and "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" in their rotation, it's been years since I last heard on radio:
