For the record, this is the particular ad I was talking about. Listening to it, you can definitely hear the similarity in the melody of the line "It's the little things that make the difference" to the chorus of Reflections. That's why I thought it was from that particular era.

I thought I had replied to this about an hour ago,however, I don't see it. Briefly, I recall this being from either late 1965 or early 1966 well before Reflections. It was always a catchy song, both musically and lyrically. HDH production maybe?
