You may not like gospel but you'll hear it here. Love this tune.
And maybe the most soulful song ever.
Ol' skool... My pops had me singing this at a very young age after one of our many trips down south.
More ol' skool. Clyde McPhatter was no doubt the man.
And this one, too.

Ahh Jerry , you're hitting all of my Dad's [[mine too ) favorites from back in the day! Every one of them!
Marv, I used to drive my crew everywhere back in the day. Therefore, it was my car, so it was my mixtape that got played. We were the only cats I knew who would pull up to the basketball courts while blasting old Drifters and Chuck Willis songs. Good times...
Hey little girl-dee clark
I hate hearing stories like that. I heard that only seven people showed up for Philippe Wynn's funeral and that affects how I deal with people to this day.

Lesson: You have to treat people right whether your poor or rich in this life.
One of my personal favorites that I regret not having the opportunity to meet. Mr. Johnny Bristol and "Hang On in There Baby" from 1974.......
Memphis tennesee-chuck berry
From the Summer of 1974, Roberta Flack scored BIG with this mellow, melodic number here......"I Fell Like Makin' Love"
