I'm looking forward to this. I really like Stephanie Mills' casting as Auntie Em. Among the many miscues with the film version was their a) failing to use her as Dorothy instead of Ms. Ross [[who was too old for the role in my opinion) and b) failing to invite her to the premiere. Her version of "Home" is one of the most beautiful renditions of a song that I've ever heard and it still gives me chills when I hear it.

Kudos to NBC for staging this as their next live musical.

They shoulda cast[morgan freeman]as oz besides since queen latifa is a female it should be the wizette of oz.
