One of my favorites.. if you don't have "Christmas With Mahalia", you are missing out on a masterpiece.

Marv2, your Mary Wilson clip just goes to underscore what a totally fun entertainer she is. Some of the best studio singers are total duds live on stage. Mary has it going on for sure! Thanks for posting this!

You are very welcome Mark! Yes , Mary is one of those very rare performers that seem naturally at home on stage and in front of a audience.

While Mary is real talented shes neither rare or unique imo. Almost every veteren performer that is in the business for almost 50 year is naturally at home on stage and in front of a audience.

Here is a very rare performers that seem naturally at home on stage and in front of a audience and she may need a cane to walk with and be real feeble on her feet but Miss Cissy Houston or Saint Cissy as shes known in New Jersey and New York as gives me chills when she sings O holy Night. This dear and sweet and saintly woman gives everybody chills just watch the audience apprecciatte her.

Maybe not a traditional Christmas carol, but it's certainly a classic Christmas song presented to you by The Drifters.

Here's a Christmas song from a group called The Doo Wop Allstars, with my boss Eugene Pitt on lead. Pretty tune.

Jill I can remember my mother playing this album throughout the Christmas season while we were upstairs jamming to the Jackson 5 Christmas. What a great album that is

    You are most welcome, Marv2.

And, how could it be Christmas without this classic.

Here's an obscure Christmas song, even I've never heard, and I have most of the Apollo releases around it:

She was my mom's favorite artist and while we played the Jackson 5 Christmas upstairs. My mom was blasting this downstairs while cooking. Thanks for the memory

Now what would Christmas be without Grace Jones singing "The Little Drummer Boy"?

That is amazingly cool, I remember being mesmerized by this performance when it first aired.
