I just watched the first episode of "Gotham" tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Does the series keep up the standard?

I haven't seen the show, 144man, but I've read several very favorable reviews of it. The first episode seems to be acknowledged as a real stand-out but subsequent episodes have also been well-received.
