Just like I can say Mariah Carey, who also topped quantities of number ones, mostly "Nineties Music", sorry, her quality despite still number one-ing in the noughties are just not the same, and even a hearty number of her ones had been from "sampling" others' [[ "Fantasy" = "Genius Of Love", "Honey" = "Body Rock" / "Hey DJ", "Dreamlover" = "Blind Alley...).
Supremes, Motown, well, at least the general ones - Supremes, Temptations, Four Tops, Smokey, Marvin, ect - are "music" - just "music" - timeless, appealing, just as feel-good, relevant, with any generation, even ten years from now, twenty years from now, thirty, "X" years from now, just as they still are for over five decades, 2-3 generations.
