    HELLO BROADWAY - Marvin Gaye

I am confused as to where this album was recorded. The Don't Forget About The Motor City site has it recorded in California, with some overdubs in New York, the Discogs site says the Graystone Ballroom in Detroit, and Bob Olhsson posted on Facebook that he had heard that the album was done at Atlantic Studios in New York and was mixed in Detroit. Can anyone shed any light on this subject? Thanks.

It was produced by Hal Davis and Marc Gordon which suggests that it was recorded in LA.Gene Page arranged all tunes except "Walk on the Wild Side" which was Jerry Long.
