This is probably in my top 5 Diana Ross songs of all time! Love love love I Thought That We Were Still In Love
Ahhhhhhhhh...."Anywhere You Run To"....perfection!
Did I hear it said you did not know I Thought We Were Still in Love??? Bad. Very bad
How Ross looks and moves when her skirt flows upward during her TBT performance has always been one of my favorite Ross moments. Shades of Marilyn standing over the subway street vent in THE SEVEN-YEAR ITCH. But Ross managed to make it very special and her own.
Diana here in San Diego during the "Silk Electric" tour.

Hi all better late then never eh? so what did I miss?
Thanks John howdy and Congrats on Part 1 of your 2 parter Joseph
I don't think a Vandella could pull this one off.
It was the cover of "Black Beat" magazine. It was a teen magazine. It was always one of my favorite magazine covers. So hot. Thanks for posting a picture I've never seen before. I have only seen this outfit on the magazine cover. I also never knew this was under that other dress. You learn something new everyday.

I tell ya. The "Take me Higher" album was one of the best Diana Ross albums ever. "Let somebody know" was written by Brenda Russell and it is one of my favorites from that CD.
One Shining Moment - thinking of the first time we saw Diana sing this in concert. It was definitely OSM
These last choices are killing me!!!!! Let somebody know, Promise Me You'll Try, and One Shining Moment...............just beautiful!!! Thank you, Joseph, for a wonderul part one....and thank you all for joining the show!!! It made the best even better! See you for part 2.....next week...
Just look at the pattern of those rips! Clearly the work of Mary. It couldn't be clearer. Although I'm sure she was just trying to offer some helpful ventilation. If that is her handiwork. But it probably isn't.
A beautiful night, Joseph. Thank you. Just wonderful. And thank you to John for making such a great and enjoyable opportunity possible.
Thanks John! Thanks everybody! See you next time.
I think the fish-netting on those rips is pointing to someone from Cape Cod. Just a thought.
Interesting that Lionel Richie was a producer on the "Swept Away" LP; do you suppose he took the title "We are the Children of the World" and reworked it a year later into "We are the World"?
JOseph and JOhn,
Thank you for a wonderful show. I heard so many wonderful tracks for the first time and enjoyed them all. "Summertime" in paritcular is a new favorite.
