After what? As Flo Ballard said, "Better no mink, than cheap mink."
Looks like this is the missing link of mink . . . er, make that red fox:

For anyone to wear real fur in 2013 given how animals are captured for their fur, it’s disgraceful Diana Ross is still wearing real fur. I hope a PETA activist gives her a direct lesson for her vulgarity and tackiness and lack of sensitivity and respect.
I'm not sure how anyone can tell a real fur from a fake one in any instance, let alone this one...
She seems to be getting like Aretha.
Diana's appearance has gotten noticeably strange ? I don't think so. I've seen her up close in person recently and she looked fine. In fact, I think all the ladies [[Gladys, Diana, Mary Wilson, Bette, Barbra, Cher, Patti and even Aretha after losing some weight) are looking fine and none of them are spring chickens
Sometimes pictures on the internet can be deceptive and sometimes even altered. We shouldn't judge the artist's look by just one picture.

Diana is also about half the size or a quarter of the size of some of her contemporaries. You tend to "chunk it up" as you age.
I hear the reviews are great and the concerts are sold out. No trailer courts, no parking lots, no retirement centres.
Now Marv youre being very silly. Mink coat with sweat pants odd in 70 degree weather? Come on now.
I wasn't really talking about that. I was referring to the noticable bloated stomach like a small bowling ball, hair that looks like it's been sown just to the top of her head and the dark, browning teeth that look to be caving in on one side of her face. I am a bit concerned.......

No you are more than a bit obsessed with Diane Ross.

Lots of picture of the arrival in Rio!
The only thing caving in is someone's brain! LOLOLOLOLOLOL Thanks for posting the pics - the reviews were stupendous - crowd went wild - not bad for a diva whose career has "been over for years" LOLOLOLOL I think something is over, but it ain't Miss Ross' career LOLOLOL

I'm really torn on this subject as I know the fur industry has changed the way they raise their critters - [[supposedly in a more humane way) but I eat meat and use leather......... chickens, turkeys, pigs and calves have it much worse than the minks. Seriously, they suffer their entire lives. In this particular case, Miss Ross is wearing a 40 year old fox [[if it's real and I believe I recognize it) but it would be worse IMHO for those foxes to have endured their fate for nothing. I remember reading more than once that Miss Ross has said she's anti fur and her daughters would have fits if she even entered a fur salon. I believe it's winter in South America right now, so I'm cool with her wearing the fur. Miss Ross has always gotten cold easily and I'm not around to keep her warm.
Perhaps it was after 2003:

Well even if it wasn't, she can be anti-fur but not be a fanatic about it!![]()
Greggie/Supremester....
This seems to be the same coat she wore when arriving at the David Letterman show to promote "I Love You". I didn't think it was real then.
Also remember Diana was standing mere feet away from Calvin Klein with her escort Bob Mackie, when Klein got hit in his face with a cream pie that was thrown by a PETA member and meant for Karl Lagerfeld, to protest his use of fur. This was at the 20th Annual American Fashion Awards ceremony.
I strongly doubt Miss Ross would slip into a real fur after this experience.
And Miss Tracee Ross would certainly have told mom to "Stop, In The Name of PETA" before departing the hotel.
I didn't recognize it without the fanny pack ; )
Good to know that’s faux fur she’s wearing. I hope that’s true. I found this quote from Diana Ross about wearing fur. I don’t know when it dates back to, but I’m sure someone here will know.
I don't know what I feel about wearing my furs anymore. I worked so hard to have a fur coat, and I don't want to wear it anymore because I'm so wrapped up in the animals. I have real deep thoughts about it because I care about the world and nature.”
