Over here, in the UK, if you really want to be a 'household name', you need to be christened 'Harpic'...or 'Sanilav'.....

You ever wonder how those companies come up with those names?

'Sanilav' I can understand, as there is a logic there, but not 'Harpic'.

For decades, we had a really popular lemon scented cream household cleaner made by Unilever, known as 'Jif', but which now has to be known as 'Cif', because of some EU regulation. Maybe it was already copyrighted in another country.....

Some of the names given to new vehicle designs must take a lot of thought.....

Detroit.............with everyone from SDF........we met so many people!!! Finally got to meet The Count [[God Bless him). Ralph and some others can attest to his zaniness!! He's probably up there in heaven painting someone's hot rod!!
There were so many to mention. One of the best times was a night at Subu's. I turn around & who's about 3 feet away was none other than Funk Brother Joe Messina. Dennis and Millie Coffey.great people! So many. That's the trip I'll never forget!

I'd like to visit the Motown Museum again sometime. I went once in the 90s, and it was almost like having a religious experience.
