Are there any plans to release "I Had To Fall in Love" on CD with outakes of this wonderful album that Jean did in 1977.

Jean's album I Had To Fall In Love was released on CD in the UK in 2006 on SoulBrother Records. It is still available for 12 pounds on Amazon.co.uk! If you're in the US, it is usually less expensive to buy it on Amazon UK than Amazon US.

This is a great thread. I had to go dig out my cassette version as my cassette deck died years ago. I bought the CD in the US and loved it. When I was living in South Africa, I found and bought the cassette. Given that the cassette was released in 1991 in South Africa, the liner note on the inside flap states "The Supremes are Opposed to the Policy of Apartheid". Kinda cool.
Did George ever provide the email address to write Universal/Motown? Perhaps we fans can start a letter/email writing campaign to get releases like the Reflections EE released or a 70's L&F released?
Great thread. Thanks MaryBrewster.
Hi guys,
If you want to know where to direct your emails in regards to contacting Universal for more Supremes releases, please send me a message me on here privately. Thanks!
Didn't Stevie record his own version of Until You Come Back To Me in 1967 that was on the Looking Back/Anthology album from the mid 70's? I doubt that he had Aretha in mind when he wrote and recorded it back in the 60s.

Did they ever have a track listing for side 2 for the 70s . I assume the big hits.
Surprised they just didn't change the cover art.
I didn't check the date when I started reading the thread, and realized I was reading some historic when I saw Marv's name there and then Midnight Johnny's a bit later. Great information and a nice nostalgic moment, remembering to great contributors, not to mention George and Andy.
i was doing a search and finally found the posts with all of the great George comments about his days in the 90s trying to crank out these cd set, like GH&RC. so much interesting info. it's worth it just to keep bringing this thread back to the top
please take a moment and scroll through the various posts here. some really fun comments and info

it'll perhaps be moved over to the DRATS forum where it now belongs.
I think the original post was pre DRATS forum. I'm sure that Ralph will move it.
I started this thread in 2010; the DRATS Forum wasn't created until 2018.
