Very nice. Wonder where Ruth was? Missing June, indeed.

Good job ladies. I would've preferred it with a soulful band backing them as opposed to that manufactured track, and they needed Ruth in there for the harmony. But it turned out nice anyway.

what an angry sounding song, the vocal delivery , the harsh basic 'drum' pattern, nothing pretty about it, all sounding contrary to the loving lyrics.
Especially the out of the blue, new topic rap, was June in a bad relationship ? Sorry I don't know the details....

I do not hear the anger. I hear the sadness and confusion about life choices June made. It reminds me of Diana’s Missing You tribute to Marvin .... Tell me why the road turns ....

Yes, I hear the sadness and confusion about life choices June made. If you're not
familiar with those 'choices'....read Ruth's book. It's all spelled out.

Sometimes the disease of addiction sadly overwhelms the person and June died of ovarian cancer.

    Sad.

A cathartic project for the two , now almost fifteen years later , the pain and loss of June still raw.

Listening again, for my ears, still wish its format conveyed more warmth [[the warmth of June) which i think is a good approach to the song , and find the angry rap part to be jarring [[& aimed at ?) , but obviously the two sisters know why they wanted it in there...
