I cannot listen to Shannon without remembering a girl I was ...dating at the time...She sang
the mess outta that song...
As far as Starpoint, Renee Diggs[[RIP) had one of the best voices in the business. These
acts along with artists like Cameo gave relief to my ears while I waited to see what was going to happen next with George Clinton...

Am I the only one who thinks "Let the Music Play" is the most terrifying song ever? I mean, she is a stone cold stalker... With that said, it is one of my favorite club songs from the '80s.

I had no idea whatever became of Starpoint [["Keep On It" was another jam), so I'm sorry to read that Renee Diggs is deceased.

And speaking of Cameo, I remember putting together CDs for a party that I was DJing about 10 years ago, all '70s and '80s songs. Of the 18 CDs that I produced, nearly two of them were solely Cameo songs. I bought both of their Rhino collections and the second one was just as good as the first. And there were still songs that didn't make it on either of them that I loved.
