For those in the UK, I'm sure you knew that there was a documentary about Otis on BBC4 last Friday evening. If you didn't, catch it on the iPlayer or watch out for repeats. It was fabulous.

Another soul night on BBC 4 this coming Friday 7 June first at 9pm is a programme about Bobby Womack's Across 110th Street. Then after it, is the movie featuring Ike & Tina Turner, Wilson Pickett & friends live in Ghana 1971; Soul To Soul.
Great stuff from BBC 4!

I'll second that. There was plenty of footage of him [[concerts and T.V. shows etc.) that I don't recall having ever seen before, plus a lot about the legendary Stax/Volt tour of the U.K. and Europe in the spring of 1967.
Overall it was one of the best T.V. documentaries I've seen in years.
This is the iplayer link ..

The documentary was followed by the film of the Stax/Volt concert in Norway so that is available to view as well ..
