Back in the day when the long version was played on the radio,there was a verse
[listen to the heartbeat,beating much too fast go back home where you belong]well on the long version that i have that verse ain't on it,any temptaholics know the verse i'm speaking of??

It's not missing. It's probably on an album or disc somewhere; most likely the version on the Cloud 9 album.

It may be on the Temptations "Psychedelic Soul" comp, which has the 9:21 minute version.

It's only on the full-length [9:21] version of The Temptations' "Run Away Child Running Wild". You can find it on the "Cloud Nine" album and the "Psychedelic Soul" compilation.
