    Another one for Oldies...BUDDY LAMP

    Do you and your dad have all these songs on CD or are you listening to the old 45s? My record player isn't hooked up to my computer and I don't know how, or if, I could do that. Besides, I have nowhere to put it even if it was hooked up!

    Oldies, dad bought an inexpensive record player, a Crossley- which he keeps in the den downstairs at his house. It has OK sound, but sounds best with headphones. But when he was a kid, he had inexpensive/cheap portable record players until 1970. So the Crossley makes him feel like a kid again. He had a lot of records that were not on CD that he no longer played. Now he can play them again.
