    I just saw this in the news. I never really watched that show but the guy was around forever and I remember him in many shows as I was growing up.

    I enjoyed him on Different Strokes and other programs over the years. Sorry to hear this. RIP Conrad and thanks man!

    That's what I've heard. And then there's all sorts of crazy dot connection to prove the point. But with that said, these two are awfully close [['70s television actors).

    I believe actor Charles Durning makes up the trio as he passed on Dec. 24 ,2012. He also just happened to be a former classmate of Conrad Bain's from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts here in New York.

    That's incredible when you think that two of his co-stars were children during the run of the show, which ended 27 years ago.
