    Jingle bell,
    Jingle bell,
    Jingle bell Jock,
    Jingle around the clock;
    Mixin'
    and spinnin'
    a whole lotta fun,
Now the Jingle Jock has begun.

Or he will be in just a few hours.

Ya know, Santa, I've been good all year. "But when I'm bad, I'm better." [[Or so I hear.)

And tonight, there's an extra, earlier hour of NIGHTFLIGHT, too. I feel better already!

    Makin' Merry.

Merry Christmas John and fellow Nightfligters. Looking forward to tonight...sharing Christmas with my extended family in music. Bright, sunny and cold in northern Ontario. A very light dusting of snow, but no snow to speak of. Anyone have a white Christmas?

The perfect photo, Jingle Jock John!
But it has me wondering--Is it:

    A. Holiday winter fun with The Supremes?
    B. Makin' Merry with The Supremes?
    Or,
    C. In the lovely tradition of SDF: Diana suddenly, strategically placed in the middle, obviously using Flo and Mary as shields, as buffers, as air bags?

Ah, yes, just another 4-hour, starting one hour earlier, Christmas cavalcade/extravaganza/showpiece with the folks.

No place else I'd rather be.

Lorne...Merry Christmas! No snow here....inland from the Cape did have a dusting which would have been nice....but I never put pressure on Mother Nature any more...she's so sensitive.

Merry Christmas John and the gang!

So excited for tonights 4 hour show full of holiday cheer!

Sad I missed Louvains second visit last week but London more than made up for it!

I gotta confirm that those are the Supremes on that sled above. Didnt everyone pick up the Christmas themed follow up book to the Andantes memoir, Standing In The Snowbanks Of Motown?

Never too soon for a little humor.
I think that photo was originally planned for a winter holiday album to be titled SEQUINS SEQUESTERED IN THE SNOW. Possibly SNOWBOUND BUT NO GOWN. Maybe even IT MAY BE WINTER OUTSIDE [[BUT IN MY HEART IT'S SUB-ZERO FOR YOU).

John, I'd love to hear Jackie Moore's THIS CHRISTMAS TIME, BABY--the long version. Easily one of the best tunes, best recordings, best vocals, best dance pieces ever. A real favorite of mine. And absolutely perfect for tonight's theme.

OK, OK, she doesn't actually mention Christmas in it. But it's clearly what the song is about. Clearly. Well, sort of clearly. Maybe just play it so we can hear for ourselves. Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket.

BTW, Mae West had an entire Christmas album.
