Norman Whitfield - unreleased material?

I've always liked Norman Whitfield's work on the Temptations [[Solid Rock, All Directions, Masterpiece) as well as his involvement with Rare Earth.

Now, questions for Ralph / Russ - do you know if there are any tracks from that era still in the vaults? I'd love to see an expanded edition of the LP - Masterpiece [[for example).

Listening to some of his work on the radio is just sheer perfection.

There's probably a lot of material by Rare Earth that hasn't been released, and I suspect most of it won't be. But after the box set by Rare Earth issued some years ago, we could do with a follow up :-)

What was it like working with Norman on those albums [[you may not have been involved though).

I know Norman was doing a heck of a lot of recording while I was at Motown but doubt that there is anything of any significance in the vaults. Norman pretty much knew what he wanted to record and, I believe, there was little room for slop.
