    jillfoster :

Thank you! Good to see Judith Durham included. Like me, white, but sings from her own soul with a lot of heart and spirit. And a lovely lady, too..

    glencro and marv :

Thank you both! Not only Sunday, I can enjoy these any day of the week!

Who is the grand lady in the pink outfit, featured on "This morning when I rose..." - ?

She doesn't so much sing it, as inhabits it. What a GAL!

Glen I can truly understand. I remember Bro. Ted Wright of WKLR 99.9 FM in Toledo Ohio playing that record just about every Sunday morning when I was a kid that I grew to really love it. Then I did not hear it for many, many years but always remembered it. I had it sung for my father's funeral in 2007.

Sunday morning is here again... and here is some southern country gospel from Lulu Roman on Hee Haw. a BEAUTIFUL song written by Larry Gatlin, and her voice is that of an angel.....it brings you to tears. [[BTW, her latest CD, "At Last" is REALLY good.... check it out)

Great tribute to the legendary Mattie Moss Clark featuring Rance Allen, The Clark Sisters, Rev Timothy Wright, Sara Jordan Powell and others. Great history, great music.
