IMO, Motown would have done better to place the Four Tops with Ivy Hunter as their main producer to replace HDH, and move them into a smoother style like "YDs". The producers struggled to 'copy' HDH's style, trying to get Levi straining too much, but HDH had the lock on that."YDs" proved that Levi was an excellent stylist on ballads.
Top Man Ivy....
Any tracks other posters would include. [[I will avoid the Stevenson-Hunter tracks......he seemed to move to 'sad' lyrics after he went on his own , or with other partners.
