I just picked up the news the Mary Wilson will be in a new movie that will be filming in Detroit soon. She'll play a teacher. She talks about it here:

She played an elementary school teacher in "Jackie's Back".

It was a fun movie and Mary was funny in her part. When I find out more about this upcoming movie and role, I'll share it here.

Vivica Fox? Her movies all go straight to DVD. Maybe with the "bullying" topic in the news this past year, it will help the movie get released to the movie theaters.

I am very happy to hear that they will be filming in Detroit. This is the type of thing the city needs to give it a boost in restoring it's image. A great town all the same.

Seems like a movie that may end up on Lifetime or the Hallmark Channel rather than the theaters.

The good thing is the movie has or will have a positive message. A movie is a movie regardless if straight to DVD or on the Lifetime network. It's a project that if it should come to fruition all involved will be proud to have been a part of.
