New Order: the post punk/new wave/synth rock Supremes?

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2012...?newsfeed=true

Interesting article on the reunion tour of 80’s band New Order. One of the original members is not on the tour and complaining loudly about it. And he’s written a book denigrating the talents of the lead singer and aligning himself with the dead member of the in its previous incarnation. Meanwhile the lead singer is saying the member left out is impossible to please. Déjà vu anyone?

However this reunion tour seems to be doing well at the box office [[both their NYC shows next month are sold out) and the lead singer is touring with two of the other original members along with two additional musicians to fill out the sound.

I didn't care for New Order after their 1st single. I'm a huge Joy Division fan, though.
