    Stacy Lattisaw appreciation thread

I like her music, don't know a lot of her tunes other than her two big hits, "Let Me Be Your Angel" and the fine re-make of "Love on a Two-Way Street."

She seemed to disappear quickly, though Wikipedia shows a solid list of top 100 songs. I know, teeny-bopper, perhaps too soft, but I liked her sound. She's now going Christian/Gospel music, more power to her.

I love Stacy. She also has a song called "Miracle" that I like. She also had a duet with Johnny Gill.

Yes, the hit with Gill was good. I like her voice, very powerful. She shouldn't have disappeared off the pop/soul scene so quickly, but she came in during a huge transition in music, soul to disco to New Jack/drum machine to rap, etc. Lots of talented artists got lost in that wild shuffle, Stacy being one of them.

For some reason I can't find Stacy's Unsung episode, but you might check YouTube and Hulu. That episode should answer at least some of your questions.
