Jimi, none of these people have a clue. Particularly the one who seems to think there's something wrong with who Diana chooses to date. Kinda ironic, considering the one who brought it up is a white man who spends loads of time up in the personal business of black women.

Cicely Tyson can't tour for years at a time, anywhere in the world,bringing home the bacon... and at her age, not exactly at the top of Hollywood's want list..I'm sure the esteemed Ms. Tyson needs the $$$$ just a little bit more than Miss Ross does...lol..

...and Diane doesn't need the $$$$? Then what was she doing fooling around with Bernie Madoff? She has gone on the Oprah Winfrey Show several times to promote one thing or another [[i.e. CD's, books, concert tours, etc.) and each time she has failed[[which I find remarkable because Oprah has the reputation of being able to influence large segments of the population to buy whatever she decides to endorse). In the case of Miss Ross, it was an impossible task. I am sure Oprah was more than a bit miffed that everything Diane went on her show to promote bombed miserably. Maybe Tyler Perry doesn't care that she may be certain box office poison. Maybe Diane knows that and just can't handle another very public failure.

Ross can be a very talented actress--Lady Sings the Blues,Out of Darkness. So why doesn't she act?

Obviously, before her passing, Whitney Houston had accepted she wasn't going to sing up to par anymore and had gone back to acting.

Hopefully, one day Diana will give the acting one more go.
